Programming and robotics have the potential to increase productivity, reliability and benefit many areas of our society, but in order to achieve this, first we must find the best way to teach the STEM superstars of the future.

Kells Academy believes in preparing youth for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. That includes offering students the chance to become involved in areas they have a personal interest in, which stimulates their curiosity and encourages them towards a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. To this end, we’ve given students plenty of opportunity to learn more about robotics—either through our FLEX program or our extensive extracurricular offerings.

This head start gives students an advantage later on as the skills they develop help to pave the way for future success. If you want to learn how your child’s education can benefit from getting involved in robotics, read on to find out more. Read more …

Promoting athletic participation and healthy competition are important aspects of the Kells experience, and we encourage our students to get involved and get active, whether that means joining one of our sports clubs or going for a walk and enjoying our natural surroundings. If you want to find out more about how we’re teaching students valuable life lessons and skills through outdoor activities, read on to hear about our Classe Nature trip.

The transition from secondary school to university is a critical time in any young person’s education. As they prepare to take a more active role in their learning, they should have the freedom and support to explore new interests and cultivate a sense of independence, while still developing the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their postsecondary studies. Kells Academy’s Grade 12 program is designed to help students successfully navigate this important transitional period. We offer an online program delivered through a tutorial approach in a classroom setting. The combination of a high level of support, and access to all program materials online leave students better prepared for admission to top universities.
