Celebrating Innovation at Kells: A Spectacular Science Fair Showcase!
In an exhilarating display of curiosity and ingenuity, Kells Academy proudly hosted its annual Science Fair, featuring a diverse array of projects from talented students in grades 7 to 11. This year's event saw a remarkable total of 24 projects spanning an impressive spectrum of scientific disciplines.
From cutting-edge engineering solutions to eco-friendly initiatives addressing environmental concerns, our students delved into an inspiring range of topics, showcasing their passion for scientific exploration. Each project not only highlighted the students' creativity but also demonstrated their commitment to understanding and addressing real-world challenges. The projects ranged from “Cars with Sustainable Energy”, a “Solar Energy Watering System” and an “Artificial Pancreas” to “Superworm Breakdown of Styrofoam Waste” and “A Sailor’s Type of Turbine”.
As we applaud all the participants for their dedication and hard work, we are thrilled to announce that 10 outstanding projects were selected to represent Kells at the prestigious Montreal Regional Science & Technology Fair. These exceptional projects stood out for their innovation, thorough research, and potential impact.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants and express our best wishes to those moving on to the next stage of this exciting scientific journey. We know that your enthusiasm and commitment will continue to shine as you represent Kells at the Hydro Quebec Super Science Expo as well as the International Science and Engineering Fair. The entire Kells community eagerly awaits the results, confident that our students will continue to impress and inspire with their scientific prowess.
Here's to a future filled with endless possibilities and groundbreaking discoveries!
