One look at the pictures below and you can certainly see that Kells Elementary students had a ball at this year's Winter Day outing!  On Friday, February 5th students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 went to Les Glissades des Pays d'en Haut for a day of tubing and rafting.  A day of fresh air and fun in the snow was the perfect way to celebrate everything winter has to offer!

In light of recent events, and with social responsibility in mind, we designated the week between November 14th and November 21st as "Friends for the Philippines Week". The Spirit Committee planned a different fundraiser for every day of the week, starting with “Dress in the Colours of the Philippines Flag” day and ending with a bake sale. The Peace Ambassadors also got involved when they organized a "Guess the Number of Items" event. Our donation for Red Cross relief efforts, is evidence of the compassion of our Kells community. Thank you for so generously supporting this effort!
